Refugee Youth in Public Space
A research project on the everyday experiences of young refugees and asylum seekers in public spaces
In this project, a transnational research team focuses on the everyday experiences of refugee youth and asylum seekers in order to explore the issue of refugee youth, public space and integration in Europe. By working collaboratively and transnationally with ten associated partners, we aim to explore refugee youth’s reworking of public space, answer questions on the role of cultural and art initiatives in these refugees’ everyday lives and develop more inclusive urban citizenries.
